AVR Promotions is a new events company looking to hire staff for forthcoming events.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take customer orders and serve drinks and food items promptly
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Check identification to ensure customers meet legal drinking age requirements
- Monitor customer behavior and intervene as necessary to prevent overconsumption or disorderly conduct
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure excellent customer service
- Assist with opening and closing duties as required
Skills:
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Note: Bartending experience is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
