What you will be doing...
Cyber Security Analyst Apprentice, based at Holiday House in Leeds City Centre.
As a Cyber Security Analyst Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced cybersecurity professionals to learn how to protect organisations from cyber threats. You will Take Responsibility for monitoring networks and systems for security breaches, investigating security incidents, and implementing security solutions to prevent future incidents.

What will you do in the role?
- Assist in the monitoring of computer networks and systems for security breaches
- Investigate security incidents and determine their root cause
- Work with experienced professionals to develop and implement security solutions to prevent future incidents
- Assist in the maintenance and improvement of security systems
- Keep up-to-date with emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies
- Handle and assess the validity of security requests from a range of internal and external stakeholders
- Perform directed open source intelligence gathering
- Manage own time to meet deadlines and manage stakeholder expectations
- Perform cyber security compliance and governance tasks
What are the key skills/experience you’ll already have?
- GCSE Maths & English (or equivalent) at grade A-C/9-4
- Excellent IT skills, preferably at GCSE level (or equivalent) or above
- You must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level in a similar subject
- Must have been resident in the UK for 3 years.

For the role of Cyber Security Analyst Apprentice, you will be required to successfully complete National Security Vetting at Counter Terrorism (CTC) level as a condition of appointment. This will include having been resident in the UK for at least 3 years prior to the date of application.
